Those of you who attended our May 1st member meeting are aware, but many others of you may not know that we are hoping to improve the reach and focus of proper education regarding the creation of our Nation’s constitution during “Constitution Week” from September 20 through 24 this year.  (This is in addition to a weekend event of some sort for our group on Sept 18th.)

We will provide as many sets of materials as we can manage, to have members select schools or classrooms in their area who will agree to provide adequate study time to the constitution during this week.  We are thinking we could provide a copy of the movie “A More Perfect Union” along with the companion study guide as well as pocket constitutions for the students in each classroom we sponsor.

We all know that our youth has been subjected to anti-American teachings for decades now, and this is one way we can begin to turn that ship around at school, as well as at home!  There is much work to do, so every willing patriot is needed to step up and help us begin the healing process, locally. 

So, this is to encourage our folks to start thinking NOW about which school or classroom you’d be willing to work with when the time comes to make contact on this proposal.
